Avatar Movie Painting

This painting was inspired by a famous artist, Roy Lichtenstein, who did cartoon style art and incorporated ben-day dots in his paintings.  We were to pick our favorite movie, find a cultural theme within the movie, then find a way to illustrate the theme by using specific clips from the movie .  The overall theme of my painting is gender equality.

Ceramic Vase

I made this vase in ceramics to give to my mom for Christmas.  You can't see them in the picture, but there are words carved all around the base of the vase that describe my mom.
